During our stay in Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, part from the Kruger National Park, we enjoyed our time very much in the Little Bush Camp accommodation, as you can read if you click on the underlined link. One day we decided eating and drinking our way through the day, from breakfast to coffee-time, towards lunch, high tea, snacks & sundowners in the bush, and on our way to dinner again – was great for our taste buds but not really for our other butts. So, after the morning game drive & a light fruit breakfast, we went on our way to the Gym! Little Bush Camp is so small – six rooms only – that there is no Spa or Gym. But the staff is more than happy to bring you to Earth Lodge, their sister lodge a few kilometers away. Because this is a beautiful lodge too, I made some photos and today I’ll show you more!
Earth Lodge is one of the 4 lodges in the Sabi Sabi Luxury Safari Group. The others are Bush Camp, Selati Camp and Little Bush Camp (where we stayed).
Earth Lodge is – surprise – very earthy done. Like the lodge is one with nature. Not everyone would like this style, it maybe feels a bit empty, all is in earthy colours and therefore a bit boring? But it’s also rustic, stylish and peaceful. It just depends on your personal taste. I liked the interior of Little Bush Camp more, more intimate and warm, but there are many people who prefer the clean and rustic look full of design in Earth Lodge.
All furniture is design.
Breakfast with a view!
I like the open living room area spaces. To read a book or have a drink during the day.
Perfect for hot summer days: cold feet!
