The Facts
Pure Guest House can be found in Hout Bay on 7 Saddlers Close. The views are great and so are the friendly hosts. It’s not too far from my favourite beach Llandudno and by car you will find many restaurant within 10 minutes drive. Great places for dinner are Kitimi (Oriental inspired), Cheyne’s (fine dining) and Massimo’s (Italian). Any negatives about the guest house? No, not really. If you really prefer to walk to town it’s a bit too far. Also, the owners were quite strict regarding closing gate, doors and windows, but that is – of course – for own security and for other guests. Having said that, Hout Bay seems to be a bit less safe than for example Franschhoek or other neighbourhoods in Cape Town.
More information about rooms and guest house van be found on the website of Pure.
* Note: I have not been asked, payed or invited. We paid the bill ourselves in full. My opinion is honest and all photos are mine.
