Llandudno: Favourite beach in Cape Town

Ask me about my favourite beach in Cape Town and I’ll answer you Llandudno. This little gem is situated close to Hout Bay, Camps Bay and Kommetjie and is definitely one of Cape Town’s most beautiful beaches. Nicer than Camps Bay or Clifton? Yes, I think so!
I love the vibe at the Clifton beaches but I never liked Camps Bay beach – too busy. Too many street sellers who disturb you all the time. I feel sorry for them, and I buy water or snacks every now and then to support them, but it is just very annoying when you read your book or try to nap a bit and someone disturbs you all the time trying to sell something. At Llandudno it is more quiet; this beach is so stunning, with its boulders and mountains and with lots of surfers every day. It’s a small beach, so I wouldn’t recommend it for hours and hours of walking. But it is the perfect place for reading a book, soak up the sun, go for a swim (it’s cold though!) or to just sit and watch the waves.

Do you like to walk around naked? Good news for you: Llandudno beach is also the access point for the walk to Sandy Bay, an isolated beach for nudists.
