Street Art in Berlin

Street art is probably not the first thing you will think about when you hear ‘Berlin’. You would probably think first about the Brandenburger Tor, Bratwurst, Unter den Linden, Alexanderplatz, Angela Merkel, Berliner Dom, musea, Oktoberfest, Beer, and the Berlin Wall (or what is left of it). But the German capital is full of street art, too! It is the perfect way to stroll around the city, without feeling ‘guilty’ for skipping another museum or building of interest and just walk around and discover the city by yourself… As a ‘local’! That is always my favourite part of city tripping. While you are ‘on the hunt’ for unexpected finds, squares, small restaurants, and talking about Berlin about the most beautiful and special street art creations…. These wall ‘painting’ below I discovered in Berlin when I was there in July. Aren’t they pretty?
