It’s the 25th of December. It’s Christmas Day! First of all I’d like to wish you all a very merry Christmas, enjoy the holidays! To me Christmas is not the most wonderful time of the year, it’s not an excuse to eat and drink way too much or spend little fortunes on presents. To me Christmas is more the time to look back on the year, to be thankful, stay calm and be nice to others. Of course one should do this all year around, but with Christmas maybe even a bit more?
Furthermore I think Christmas is a time to relax, have breakfast with Bundt Cake in pyjamas, go for a long walk in the park, have hot chocolate, read your book and watch another silly Christmas film. Spend time with your loved ones, and don’t ‘overdo’ it all. We don’t need lobsters, Champagne, diamond earrings, fancy electronics or the biggest Turkey in the village to love and be loved. If you keep that in mind Christmas can be fun, too.
